DCC Presents: Healthy Body, Healthy Mind, & a Healthy Year COMMUNITY DAY!

What an incredible day! Our Community Day was a huge success, as we welcomed enrolled families and many new faces from Dayton and our surrounding communities. Your energy and presence made the day unforgettable. From fitness sessions to family workshops, free meals and snow cones, face painting and journaling, and every warm smile- this event reminded us just how powerful community can be!

Thanks to our amazing Engagement Team, community partners, and our staff- we were able to provide 100 students with backpacks and school supplies, connect families to resources on preschool preparation and enrollment, promote healthy eating habits, highlight the importance of mental health awareness, support families with information on family planning and so much more!! All of this happened in a fun, engaging atmosphere full of joy and community spirit for our little ones and their families.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to our amazing partners, community leaders and other community organizations such as Ohio Help Me Grow, NAMI Montgomery County, The Foodbank, Inc., Montgomery County Women's Center, Obedience, LLC, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc., Delta Phi Zeta Chapter, Preschool Promise, Dayton Regional Pathways HUB, and Street Souljahz. Your generous support and free resources made a real impact on the families who attended.
